Get to know me…

My name is John Mayambi, I am originally from DR Congo. My family and I moved to the United States about ten years ago. I picked up photography my freshman year of college because I was fascinated with fashion and wanted to document it. I used to wander around on campus and when someone’s outfit caught my eye, I would ask if I could take photos of them. I did that for about a year and a half, through which I was able to build both my photography and communication skills. I can proudly say that I am able to implement what I learned throughout that time to better communicate with clients and approach photography with a unique perspective.
